When a client recently came to us and asked us to make a slab table with plexiglass legs we were skeptical about what the final results would be like.  We eventually settled on a block base design using a wooden stretcher with tusk tenons and were shocked at the results.  We loved the ethereal yet grounded look of the table and so did the clients.  We will be making more.
