Bruce Museum Stitched Table

The black oak used in this piece was taken down on the grouds of the Bruce museum in 2010.  One hundred years ago the Greenwich Society of Artists was featured in the first exhibit at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich.  The property was a gift of Robert Bruce, a textile merchant, who deeded his estate to the city for use as a natural history and art museum.
