Greenwich Country Day School Project

When the Greenwich Country Day School expanded from K-8 to a high school this past year they bought a nearby high school campus and built a new school building. They also put in a new playing field and needed to remove a lot of trees to build it. We worked with the school and architects from SLAM to salvage as many of the logs as possible. It was a terrific variety of red oak, white oak, maple, hickory, and beech. We transformed the wood into new dining hall tables, benches, feature walls, and a large ceiling. It was a terrific project and very satisfying to see all the wood be put to good use. Click here to see more of what we made.
