Two years ago we salvaged the mayor of Hartford’s black walnut when it was brought down in his front yard.  It we a big tree with lots of nice limbs and crotchwood.  We made this coffee table for a Hartford family.  We’ve done many other projects from the walnut and have quite a bit left.  It has a terrific dark chocolate color.
